At first it surprised us; after all, we’d explored incredible routes all over the world. But after a few rides along Girona’s winding climbs, thrilling descents and quiet backroads, we understood exactly what that meant.

Girona is more than a cycling destination. That feeling is what inspired us to create Tomata.

We founded Tomata to share the magic of Girona with every cyclist who visits. Whether you’re here for road cycling or gravel adventures, our goal is to offer you more than a rental: a genuinely local experience.

Our name, “Tomata”, is a word only used in Girona. You won’t hear it anywhere else in Catalonia or Spain. That’s why we like to say:
